Russell Carrington Wilson

This is my first blog post. I'm Japanese and a student of Turumi University. I have been an American football fan since last year, but I'm a big fan of the Seattle Seahawks, so I will introduce Seattle Seahawks's news, players and an American football shop in my blog. I want you to be interested in an American football when you read my blog. The American football season began in Sepember, so let's watch the game!!!

Now, I'll introduce my favorite American football player. He is Russell Carrington Wilson (Picture on right side). Sometimes, he is called "Wil Sama" by Japanese women fans. ("Sama" means "Sir" in Japanese.) He is 27 years old and he has been a Seattle Seahawks from 2012.  He is the best example of an American football player in the NFL. His position is quarterback (QB), and he is considered a "Mobile Quarterback". The QB is the playmaker, so this position is very important. I think that it is likes the pitcher in baseball. Wilson is also a baseball player. When he was a high school and university student, he played an active part in both baseball and an American football. He took part in the MLB Texas Rangers's spring training in Arizona. Then, he blasted a home run!!! By the way, his position is  second baseman.

 The opening game between the Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams was held on September 13. Wilson, my favorite player, was sacked by the defensive line of the St. Louis Rams many times, so he couldn't passed to his teammates readily. As a result, St. Luis Rams won the game by a score of 34-31. I felt sad, because I'm a big fan of the Seattle Seahawks. But Tyler Lockett, who is a rookie player of the Seattle Seahawks and a Wide Receiver (WR) from 2015, scored a punt return touchdown!!! It's so cool and I was excited by his action!!! I want him to play an active part in every game!
