Steven Hauschuka

I will introduce Steven Hauschuka, who has been a member of the Seattle Seahawks since 2011. I like him, because he is so cool!! Of course, I like his performances and skills too. He has also been a member of the Baltimore Ravens (2008-2009), the Atlanta Falcons (2009), the Detroit Lions (2010) and the Denver Broncos (2010), so he has a lot of experience with many NFL teams. He was born in 1985, so he is 30 years old. His age is older than his teammates in the Seahawks, because the average age of the Seahawks is about 26 years old. Players of the Seahawks are younger than other NFL teams, like the New England Patriots, so people sometimes call the Seahawks a "Frash Team". Steven Hauschka is a placekicker, or a kicker (PK or K). This position  kicks field goals and also punts. The salary of  players, who are kickers is lower than players, who are in other positions, and practice less than other positions. So kickers are sometimes allowed to go back to their home when players in other positons are the still practicing. But the PK is a specialist of kicks, so their kicking skills are great!! Formerly, the PK was a player of small-size, but big-size players appeared in recent years because of muscle training.

In week 4 of the 2013 season, Steven Hauschka was chosen as the NFC Special Team Player of the week. It's like an All Star in Japanese professional baseball.

On October 23, the Seattle Seahawks played a game with the San Francisco 49ers, and with the Dallas Cowboys in November 2. The Seahawks won both games. I'm so happy, because the Seahawks lost 4 games in a row, and they only won 3 games. So I think that players of the Seahawks showed themselves at their best at last, and the games with the 49ers and the Cowboys gave the Seahawks a chance to show what they can do. In both games, Steven Hauschka kicked a total of 4 field goals. So if you watch an American football game, you should watch not only the main positions, which are like QB, RB and WR and so on, but also the PK. This is my recommedation.
